Title: Tax lien sales / auctions in NY area ( 5 boroughs )

I don't know if tax lien sales / auctions is permitted in NY area the 5 boroughs for public, anyone knows about this, if yes how to do it?

  Buffalo, NY, used to have property auctions. Houses are cheap, but tenants are broke, so you take your chances; call Buffalo city hall to get on the mailing list.

For the city of New York (5 boroughs) there is an annual tax lien sale usually in the spring.

The best place to check next year's sale is by visiting the nyc website or calling them and asking them.   I'll post a notice next year in these forums.  I would guest the sale is most likely to occur anywhere from March to June.
