Almost 5000 ....check out florida .  Places  like miami move 300 propertys per day but many are empty lots from failed subdivisions .   Buffalo  has mostly old  abandoned houses .

Thanks for the link. I think Detroit's mayor is doing the right thing. I still remember last year many properties were dirt cheap but location/neighborhood was bad (beside very high property taxes)
I prefer Arizona due to very fact that they have less humidity and low property taxes. Buying process is very easy. A good agent and Title insurance company will do the job.
