Title: Instruments that include property descriptions - Where are they?
Post by: Logos on November 08, 2005, 07:44:49 PM
I see reference in the listings to properties "already described in instrument (number).

Where can I find these instruments?

All the instruments that you need to see can be located at the registry office.   They also have copies of any surveys that pertain to the property and these will help you to decipher the documents.

As per my previous correspondence, if you know how to do a property search they are at your disposal to view.  If not, then I recommend you contract with someone that knows what they are doing - the cost of this can add up and you should only consider doing it if you are seriously interested in bidding on a property.

Also, wait until a few days before the sale date since the property can be redeemed or the sale cancelled and you will have wasted your time and money.  Just check with the Municipality to see if the sale is still on.
