It's a house in Niagara Falls ::) If you want more info such as title search assess value etc you have to do what we all do  "research". Tax sales are a lot different now with lot's of competition so I would not expect free info or someone to hold your hand. Sounds a little harsh but that is the reality of Tax Sales. Good Luck  8)

pj....that is not very nice, you called it a 'house'....one can live in a house, this is simply the remains of a house in which someone once resided.  A 'house' needs to be maintained in order to livable on a continual basis, that is simply not the case here.  Or are you trying to discourage other bidders as you want it all to yourself.

This so called 'house' does back onto a schoolyard, and is a in a nice neighbourhood where well maintained homes seem to be selling for around $200k.  It is assessed at $90k, but I would place its value at much less than that,  in order to make it livable you would need a lot of $$$$$.  Even at that it is still one of the smallest in the area and when fixed up and made habitable (if that is possible) will market at the low end of the spectrum.

This may be a great deal for someone who is young and has a lot of time and money on their hands.  However don't expect to make any money on it, and certainly be prepared to possibly lose some.

If I was a Hill-Billy, I would certainly be in on this one and bidding big time.  8)

That wasn't nice.. Clearly we can all do the research and then give it away for free. Hell lets do the bidding and pay the deposit too.

The only info that should be shared is "land mine " toxic waste or large crown lien.   If I tell you where the land mine is, you can tell me when you find one.   But Im sure as hell not telling anyone where the goldmine is.

Hey for my first post seems like I got a "nice" response, I don't really like research so I'll be out on this one. :-[
