Erratum
The following notice published in the March 15, 2011 issue of the Alberta
Gazette contained errors. It should have read as follows:
Town of Turner Valley
Notice is hereby given that, under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act,
the Town of Turner Valley will offer for sale, by public auction, at the Municipal
Town Office, 223 Main Street NE, Turner Valley, Alberta, on Tuesday, April 26,
2011, at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:

Each parcel will be offered for sale, subject to a reserve bid and to the reservations
and conditions contained in the existing certificate of title.
The land is being offered for sale on an "as is, where is" basis, and the Town of
Turner Valley makes no representation and gives no warranty whatsoever as to the
adequacy of services, soil conditions, land use districting, building and development
conditions, absence or presence of environmental contamination, vacant possession or
the developability of the subject land for any intended use by the successful bidder.
No bid will be accepted where the bidder attempts to attach conditions precedent to
the sale of any parcel. No terms and conditions of sale will be considered other than
those specified by the Town of Turner Valley. The successful bidder shall be
required to execute a Sale Agreement in a form and substance acceptable to the Town
of Turner Valley. No further information is available at the auction regarding the
lands to be sold.
The Town of Turner Valley may, after the public auction, become the owner of any
parcel of land not sold at the public auction.
Terms: Cash, Bank Draft or Certified Cheque. A 30% deposit is payable upon the
acceptance of the bid at public auction. The balance of the accepted bid is due within
30 days or the deposit will be forfeited and the Town will consider the next bid.
GST will apply on lands sold at the public auction.
Redemption may be affected by payment of all arrears of taxes and costs at any time
prior to the sale.
