TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s)
described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on
September 8, 2006, at 24 Flint Avenue, P.O. Box 790, Bancroft, Ontario.
Description of Lands:
Part Lot 11, Concession 10, Geographic Township of Dungannon, now
Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, being Part of the Lands in
Instrument No. 558802.
Minimum Tender Amount: $9,658.40
Part of Lot 5, Concession 16, Geographic Township of Dungannon, now
Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, more particularly described as
follows:
COMENCING at a point in the easterly limit of said lot distant two
thousand five hundred and seventy-four feet (2,574’), measured
Northerly therealong, from the south-easterly angle of said lot;
THENCE westerly parallel to the Southerly limit of the said lot one
thousand three hundred and twenty feet (1,320’), more or less, to the
Westerly limit thereof;
THENCE northerly along the said westerly limit one hundred and
ninety-eight feet (198’), more or less, to the Northerly limit of the South
half of the said lot;
THENCE easterly along the said northerly limit of the said south half of

No. 389321.
Minimum Tender Amount: $4,312.80
Description of Lands: Part of Lot 55, West Hastings Road, being Part 1,
Plan 21R-13912, formerly Township of Faraday, now Town of Bancroft,
County of Hastings, as in Instrument No. 451559.
Minimum Tender Amount: $5,360.81
Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be
accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank
draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the
municipality and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold.
Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential
purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax
Sales Act. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount
tendered plus accumulated taxes and the relevant land transfer tax.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the
successful purchaser.
