described below, and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on
October 25, 2004, at the Municipal Office, Marmora Town Hall, 12
Bursthall Street, Box 459, Marmora, Ontario KOK 2MO.
Tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at 3:05p.m.
Description of Land(s)
In The Township of Marmora, now the Municipality of Marmora and
Lake, County of Hastings:
1. Concession 3, Part Lot 8, RP21R1854 Part 6, in the Township of
Marmora, in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake, in the County of
Hastings.
Minimum Tender Amount: $3,085.83

2. Concession 4, Part Lot 2, Plan M71, Lot 8 PCL-1, River Height Road
in the Township of Marmora, in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake,
in the County of Hastings.
Minimum Tender Amount: $3,135.52

Village of Deloro, in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake, in the
County of Hastings.
Minimum Tender Amount: $2,753.95

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be
accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or a bank draft
or cheque certified by a bank, trust corporation payable to the
municipality or board and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender
amount.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters related to the land to be sold.
Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential
purchasers.
The land(s) does (do) not include the mobile homes situate on the
lands(s).
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax
Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be
required to pay the amount tendered plus the accumulated taxes and
relevant land transfer tax.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the
successful purchaser.
