TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands(s)
described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time,
Thursday, May 5, 2005, at P.O. Box 40, Stirling, Ontario, K0K 3E0.
The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at 3:30
p.m.
local time, at the Township of Stirling-Rawdon municipal offices at

East Front Street, Stirling, Ontario.
Description of Land(s)
Part of Lot 13, Concession 7, Township of Stirling-Rawdon, County
of
Hastings, and more particularly described as follows:
Minimum Tender Amount: $6,386.14
All and Singular that certain parcel or tract of land and premises
situate,
lying and being in the Township of Rawdon, now Township of Stirling-
Rawdon, County of Hastings and Province of Ontario and being
composed on that portion of the north half of said Lot Thirteen (13)
in
the Seventh Concession of the Township of Rawdon, now Township of
Stirling-Rawdon aforesaid described as follows:
COMMENCING at a point 455 feet, more or less, westerly from a point
where the easterly boundary of said Lot 13 intersects a Township Road
crossing said Lot;
THENCE northerly parallel to the easterly limit of said Lot, 236 feet,
more or less, to a post;
THENCE westerly 125 feet, more or less, to a post;
THENCE southerly and parallel to the easterly limit of said Lot, 230
feet, more or less, to the northerly limit of said Township Road;
THENCE easterly along the northerly limit of said Township Road, 118
feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, which said lands are
completely enclosed by a fence.
SUBJECT NEVERTHELESS to the reservations, limitations, provisoes
and conditions expressed in the original grant thereof from the Crown.
The description contained herein is the same as contained in Deed

106956.
Municipally described as Part Lot 13, Concession 7
Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be
accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank
draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to
the
municipality and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold.
Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential
purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal
Tax
Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be
required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated taxes and the
relevant land transfer tax and G.S.T., if applicable.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to
the
successful purchaser.
