TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands
described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time,
Thursday, May 5, 2005 at P.O. Box 40, Stirling, Ontario, K0K 3E0.
The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at 3:30 p.m.
local time, at the Township of Stirling-Rawdon municipal offices at 98
East Front Street, Stirling, Ontario.
Description of Land(s)
Part of Lot 19, Concession 14, Township of Stirling-Rawdon, County of
Hastings, described as follows:

Minimum Tender Amount: $7,252.60  Add to Favorites

All that part of Lot 19, Concession 14, Township of Rawdon, now
Township of Stirling-Rawdon, County of Hastings, described as follows:
PREMISING that the westerly limit of Part 1, Plan 21R-2421 has an
astronomic bearing of North 18 degrees 48 minutes West and relating all
bearings herein thereto.
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of said Lot 19, Concession 14 as
shown on Plan 21R-2421;
THENCE North 2 degrees 19 minutes 03 seconds West a distance of
1766.16 feet to its intersection with the westerly limit of Part 1, Plan
21R-2421, said point being the point of commencement for the
following described parcel;
THENCE North 18 degrees 48 minutes West in and along the westerly
limit of Part 1, Plan 21R-2421 a distance of 132.00 feet to its
intersection with the northwest corner of Part 1, Plan 21R-2421, being
also a southerly limit of Part 2, Plan 21R-2420;
THENCE South 78 degrees 06 minutes 15 seconds West in and along a
southerly limit of Part 2, Plan 21R-2420 a distance of 89.84 feet to a
point;
THENCE North 63 degrees 48 minutes 30 seconds West in and along a
southerly limit of Part 2, Plan 21R-2420 a distance of 58.79 feet to a
point;
THENCE South 45 degrees 22 minutes 40 seconds West in and along a
southerly limit of Part 2, Plan 21R-2420 a distance of 33.13 feet to a
point;
THENCE South 18 degrees 48 minutes East a distance of 132.00 feet to
a point;
THENCE North 84 degrees 29 minutes 26 seconds East a distance of
165.00 feet to its intersection with the westerly limit of Part 1, Plan 21R-
2421, being also the said point of commencement.
This description is the same description as illustrated on sketch attached
to Instrument Number 463315.

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be
accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank
draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the
municipality and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding
the title to or any other matters relating to the land to be sold.
Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential
purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax
Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be
required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated taxes and the
relevant land transfer tax and G.S.T., if applicable.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the
successful purchaser.
