SALE OF LAND BY PUBLIC TENDER
THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF SARNIA

TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land(s) described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on January 11th, 2016 in the Purchasing Department in the City of Sarnia Finance Department located on the first floor in Sarnia City Hall. The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day at 3:05 p.m. at 255 North Christina Street, Sarnia in the Council Chambers.
Description of Land(s):

Roll #38 29 400 027 10700; PIN 43246-0221 (LT) PT LT 98-99 BLK VICTORIA PL 9 SARNIA CITY AS IN L884093; SARNIA; municipally known as 102 Mitton Street N., Sarnia.
Minimum Tender Amount: $26,000.00

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form along with the address or roll number of the property noted on the outside of the envelope and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or a bank draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the municipality and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.
The municipality makes no representation regarding the title to, existing interests in favour of the Crown, environmental concerns or any other matters relating to the lands to be sold. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus water arrears, accumulated taxes and the relevant land transfer tax and HST if applicable.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the successful purchaser.

TAKE NOTICE that tenders are invited for the purchase of the land described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on January 14, 2016, at the Municipal Office, Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew St. South, Suite 300, Orillia Ontario.
The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible after 3:00 p.m. at the Municipal Office, Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew St. South, Suite 300, Orillia.
Description of Land(s):

Roll No. 43 52 040 402 03800 0000; 64 Front St N, Orillia; PIN 58663-0052(LT); Part Water Lot 12 E/S Front St or Water St. or Gerald Alley Plan 8 Orillia as in RO509258; S/T execution 01-00848, if enforceable; Orillia; File No. 14-02
Minimum Tender Amount: $114,253.61

Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding the title to, crown interests, or any other matters relating to the land to be sold. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers. Any interests of the Federal or Provincial Crown encumbering the land at the time of the tax sale will continue to encumber the land after the registration of the tax deed.
The land was previously advertised for a sale to be held on the 22nd day of October, 2015 but the sale was postponed.
