Redesignation
Chapter: TAX SALES AS A BUSINESS

Anyone had experience in applying for redesignation of Natural Heritage Areas? I think submission of an Environmental Impact Statement or similar is required to town offices and I have a general understanding of what's prohibited and may be permitted. I'd be interested in any feedback, good or bad, if anyone's done this.

My understanding is that ESA's and Natural Heritage Areas are pretty much etched in stone these days. The cost of an Environmental Impact Statement would be prohibitive, unless you are talking about a multi-million dollar re-development project. Otherwise these areas are not to be tampered with.
