Yes for NY state would be great! Especially Western NY, I've seen many great deals on homes and land on foreclosures.

Hey speedfreakstever,
Where do you find the info on the ones in Western NY? Just curious. I'm new and wanted to compare to the Canadian ones.

I did a one month free trial with some service (I can't remember the website offhand but I'm sure you could find it on google). The prices in western NY are very cheap compared to southern ontario, but then again you have to compare what you're getting. The nicest neighbourhood in Niagara Falls, NY is about as good as the worst neighbourhoods in Toronto. Flipping properties in Western NY doesn't work as well either since property values are much lower and there's much less demand (potential buyers).
I also have to say that the process seems alot more complicated there than in Ontario. I would consider looking at something for personal use outside of the cities there but probably not for investment purposes.

Thanks for the tip, speedfreaksteve. I was only interested in looking not for buying. I feel you really have to know the area in order to find out if it's a good deal or not.
