To all

Might have a lead on a 2,000 sq. ft house for $1 in eastern Ontario if anyone is interested.
two storey historic farm house.  Of course for this price you will have to move it.
Unfortunately too tall to go under standard bridge heights.

It's not worth a plug nickel.  I moved a house a few years back and it cost me twenty thousand to do it, plus the cost of footings, basement, etc...  The owner was happy to have it towed away.  In the end, after it's usefulness had exhausted itself, it cost me another five thousand to tear it to pieces and get rid of it.  Trust me, when I tell you that I made good in the end....it was of use to me and therefore I was willing to fork out the bucks to do it.

On the other hand, if you have a specific use for it, it may be worth two bucks to you.

I almost was stupid enough to buy a brand new cottage to be moved a few years back. I'm sure glad that I didn't. Would've cost $40000 to move it, and no guarantees to the condition of it on delivery!
