Hey Dave the second

I think these may qualify as the subdivision type of lots you like...

On the serious side, does anybody have any info

Cheers Doug

Doug:

The hell with the penny ante stuff.  A rich man like you can do better.  How about a 17 unit apartment building for just over $60,000.  Buy if for that, fill it and you pay off in 6 months.

Upcoming but a smart man like you can find it.  Rob will let us know details in two weeks but for a couple of cold ones I will give you advance notice.  ;D

Doug:

As luck would have it I had to make a business trip to Sudbury this week but only had an extra hour to spare to look at potential properties.  The problem I faced was that there are two tax sales on route; one a house in the town of Parry Sound and the others In Magnetawan.

Unfortunately I chose the wrong one in Parry Sound.  I lost at least 1/2 an hour trying to find City hall which was temporarily moved because the city hall is under construction; only to find out that the tax sale property had been redeemed. :'(  By that time I did not have time to get to Magnetawan which is out in the middle of nowhere half way between highways 11 and 69/400.

One of these days I will find out Frank's secret of only selecting properties that never redeem;
have no other bidders other then "S__T" bids and can be immediately flipped for a good profit. But until then I will have to let someone else advise us about the Magnetawan property.

According to the Municipality folks, the properties down river have been up for tax sales before only to be redeemed on the last day.  I hate that! >:(

Thanks. But you never know in this business, people make mistakes and sometimes you get lucky.

In the worst case there is always more and Magnetawan is I believe is a little out of Doug's more normal hunting territory.  Maybe I can persuade him to come more east and help save Netpred from over indulging in those dozen cold ones he is hoping to get from me.

With blackfly season over Haliburton is nice this time of year.  Some times enroute it is not only the vehicle that has to be refueled.  ;D especially if one can claim it is for business.

Anyways I have to get back to work and see if I can sell the crown jewel.
