Hi All, finally my back yard...
3 good ones to choose from, what to do? Drove by all, Page st is abandond(scary), Burnbrook St, has massive Liens, and Fennell Lane is in the flood plain....
Any thoughts

What is the total of the liens on Burnbrook?
Its a knockdown as its 1950 and vacant for years. I think it was 2010 when the illegal duplex was shut down. The lot isnt worth what I understand the liens total. Too bad as the location isnt bad.

The Burnbrook location so nice but has over $160,000 in liens. :(

I like the Burnbrook location but knocking down and rebuilding something "nice" will leave you way above the recovery mark I would think based on the neighbourhood
This is Nepean and they arent selling 2.5 mil houses like the GTA

Burnbrook CRA liens at 220,000 from back in 2005, apparently you have to pay the interest over the last 12 years too.... Bidding on Page RD, wish me luck...

so 220 at 2005 is over 500K now which is the number I heard . Too bad as I looked at it for my own use as a knockdown and new build.
Page rd will be an excellent long term investment presuming there is no liens and you dont overpay. I expect that there will be a few local developers looking at it but good Luck
On a side note to all the readers. This site should be used to warn people of land mines. Obviously we are all competition and dont want to help each other win. However we should be warning each other when there is real crap like massive liens or toxic conditions. Years ago there was alot more postings regarding the crap.
If you get a title search and find massive liens, let everyone know so we all dont waste time and money. Same applies for environmental problems.
If you find a gold mine, shut the hell up and its every man and woman for themselves. Of course message me about all gold mines ....

I hate these assholes who think they are funny redeeming at the 11th hour. They are douchebags who dont pay their taxes and should be humiliated. Instead of paying immediately when its advertised they convince themselves the city and the buyers are the "bad guys" and they are the hero fighting the evil people.
Nobody ever thinks they are a douchebag.
And you can bet 110k wouldnt have come close to a win on that piece
