Title: Land wanted to buy
Post by: ErnestBidder on November 03, 2009, 03:21:30 AM
I am searching for the following:

7 Acres/more: buildings needing TLC/teardown OK, vacant land OK, whole lot of EPA not OK! Must be in Trenton - Cobourg corridor, 15 mins from Hwy 401. Don't care too much about waterfront or the view.

This is for our final home, and, I can tell you, from recent experience, it must be poison ivy free! This recent experience necessitates the sale of about 40 acres just south of Madoc. Did you know that poison ivy can kill you?

Did you know that poison ivy can kill you?  apparantly it can if you burn it

The poison ivy can be beat with several doses of roundup over a year..My brother had it bad in Frankford and it took a year or but he got it beat..  Of course if its 40 solid acres..just run away

If you burn poison ivy, the smoke will carry its oils and you breath it into your lungs...possible death as a result...never burn poison ivy.

Roundup will beat the Poison Ivy. Roundup has also been banned in Ontario because it hurts frogs.

It doesn't take smoke inhallation to have PI kill you. The urishol (oils) in PI are an allergen, and th ereaction to it is as strong as shellfish or peanuts for some folks.

For others it has no effect at all. About 80% of the population will have a reaction ranging from reddening of the skin to a full-blown reation to death.

What a great post to start my day with...
