The book I found was "Non-Traditional Methods of Buying Real Estate"- by Paul Gordon. I found it a good start. It can be ordered through taxproperty.com.

I ordered it and payed extra for the tax sale listing emailed to me bu found that I can get that information from the Ontario Gazette and ontariotaxsales.ca

Disregarding the extra money for the property listings you can find here for free.

What about the actual content of the book?  Were there any secrets revealed?  Did it go through a step by step process helping people new to the process?  Would you recommend the book?  Do you have any suggestions for improvements missing from that book?

Have you seen any other books with useful information on the tax sale property purchase process?

Thanks, any extra information you know will help many of the members here who are new to the process and are not quite sure how the entire process works.

I found the book very informative, it gives a lot of information on understanding tax sales, doing a search, what to look for in a property with an expaination on septic, wells, drainage, electrical, zoning, etc.  It was worth the money and taking a look at the contents as I write this message, it makes me want to re-read some of these chapters.

There was a lot of helpful hints and information on where to look and using this information for my internet searches I found other tools such as this site as well as other I keep secret.
