has been cancelled. And the property has been sold. Possible the owner was contacted by one of our board members or lurkers who came to his "rescue"?

Too bad the price of a search went up... it'd be worth $8 to see whose name is listed on title and the price, but not $30 ;)

Any thoughts on flatrock rd....I put a low ball in....
Number 4 redeemed as previously reported.
No bids for Number 2 and 5
Number 1 the retendered 100 acre hunting property from last year
8 bids; - winning bid $27,300 2nd bid $24,000 - less competition then last time but slightly higher winning prices.
Last year a dozen bids total. Winning bid by memory
- $22,000 2nd - $21,000
Number 3 flatrock rd
9 bids total - winning bid $18,600 2nd $16,700
I was rather surprised at the interest in it given the poor condition of the so called house which is a teardown.

I have been watching this property closely for a while.
I wanted that land for hunting but bid low last year because I had suspected some sort of a title issue or an ongoing dispute with it.
This 100 acre property was on tax sale in 2012, 2014 and again this year 2015 as well.
It appears each time the winner did not close the deal but walked away...
This land is still in the Registry system.
Does anyone know what is really going on with it?
Is this another gold mine for the local municipality?
Hopefully, this time the winner does not walk no more.

I am Mountainman
Thrice this one I have watched
The sales have been botched
While it is true that they have balked
Four bidders from their deposit have not walked
Not once was I there
Instead I remained in my lair
So to the winner beware
Please take good care
Of the problem I know
But now I must go
For I am Mountainman
