Title: Hydro Poles on my property without easement
Post by: New_in_Otawa on September 13, 2016, 04:06:02 PM
Hi... I recently surveyed at property I want to build on.  The surveyer indicated that the utility wires crossing my property had no registered easement associated with them.  What should I do? have them removed? sell an easement to Hydro?

I am Mountainman.

I read your post with some amusement

have you never heard of an unregistered easement?

Of course if I was you

this is what I would do,

Start up the old chainsaw

and use it 'till the land is raw,

But if you want to avoid all fights

Simply sell the timber rights.

I talked to my lawyer and should him the survey, he said there is nothing I can do...  Is this true?

I am Mountainman.

What do you want me to do

tell you something that isn't true?

You paid your lawyer good money

so listen to his story.

You may ask how I know this

I know even when you go for a p$ss.

So don't keep asking the same thing

'cause you're being quite the d$nk.
