Title: What does "Natural Resource" Zoning mean?
Post by: GregM on June 11, 2006, 04:06:49 AM
Hi,

I am hoping someone can tell me what a zoning of "Natural Resource" means. Are there any implications associated with it which might prevent you from building?

Thanks

That type of zoning was designed to protect scenic resources through planning.

It means that building permits and drilling / mining permits will be harder to obtain.  You could use the property as a way of getting certain types of goverment funding for specific projects.
