Title: Title Search Question

Hello...

I went and did my first title search and was wondering if somebody can help me understand the meaning of a few of the "Instrument Type" items.  Does anybody know where I could get a "manual" if there is such a thing, or perhaps a reference document, or even another post in this forum?  What I did is run the search on my own property to educate myself.

Here are a few of the items:

1. Notice
2. Charge
3. Postponement
4. Plan Condominium
5. Declaration Condo
6. Bylaw
7. Disch of Charge
8. Transfer
9. No chng addr inst
10. Lien
11. Condo Lien
12. Trans power sale
13. LR's Order
14. Transfer Easement
15. Plan Reference

A law degree is helpful.

Other than that, start with Black's Law Dictionary and consult the provincial Land Registry.

OK, Law Degree is out of the question.  Black's law dictionary is reasonable.

Would anybody happen to know if the Ontario "provincial Land Registry" has any online reference?  Better to hear from the horse's mouth if possible.
