My brother was down checking out the properties . Most are complete junk and 594 Isaac is a vacant lot with Google showing a house . Has anyone been to one of the live auctions ? Any views on how that effects prices ?

One would think prices would be higher like most auctions, but from what I have seen , Last Chatham was still reasonable as very few people will take a day off and drive to chatham to bid at the auction unlike mailing in a tender , you have to lose a days wages.  However like all auctions, you could butt heads with an idiot .  ( which would make you an idiot too ) and screw yourself  ( it is easy  to go "just a few dollars more" and end up above retail)

Based on some of the stupid overpays of the last year or two I have seen..the auction cant be worse.

Say there Booman, did your brother happen to check out Shrewsbury while he was in Chatham ?
I'm curious about the condition of the house (according to google) listed as PT LTS 7, 8, 9 & 10, SW WOLFE STREET, Being Peel Street (SHREWSBURY).

My brother didn't actually look at that property but we believe it is a vacant lot .
