Title: Timmins Ontario - Tax sale properties

Hey just curious,

Does anyone have some information regarding the ontario mining act?
These properties look interesting.
If they come with surface rights etc. there could be some serious money to be made, no?

Does anyone here have experience dealing with a potential "Mining Property"?

This is something i could dip my toes into, maybe...

Here is link to it.  Also I think you can access claimaps from this link which you can be used to locate a property.

As I posted earlier unlike conventional properties I am not certain with these if you get proper title.  Normally the surface rights are separate. Mining claims do lapse and you have to restake to claim but I will defer to someone more knowledgeable. 

Becareful as well if you get an abandoned mine.  Cleanup can be expensive.
