I just had a look at the information regarding this property on OTS. Sad  :(!!!

This looks like it once was a fine hotel - the centre piece of town actually. For a moment I thought about retiring to run a hotel with apartments in Northern Ontario. Then reality hits. The building is a disaster. Derelict and boarded up. What a terrible end to such a fine building. It is probably a reflection of the economic reality in Northern Ontario. I am not sure that the building will attract any tenders so then it will continue to sit vacant. Will the municipality take it over? Unlikely given the potential liability. So, the tax base is further eroded. Is there any future for the municipality?

I think it would be scary what that would cost to get it open to the public, really a shame cause at one time it looked like it would have been a beautiful hotel.  Maybe someone buys it just as a base to stay when hunting or fishing.

170 000 for a basecamp for hunting... lol not likely !

It does look like it would have been beautiful in it's day.
