The Township of Georgian Bay has just listed a 5.36 acre parcel for tax sale. It's a Featured Property on OntarioTaxSales.ca, so we have pictures, InfoPaks, etc. You don't have to be a member of OTS to see this information.
This will be my last "new tax sale" post this week; I'll stop now, before you get tired of these. But be aware that we're now coming in to the busy time of year for tax sales. Last year there were 859 properties listed for tax sale in Ontario. 83 Of those properties were listed during the month of April, and 107 were listed in the month of May.

well I think both Jeff and the township clerk screwed up here
using MPAC and "CommunityPAL" mapping, this parcel is zoned "WD Waste Disposal" not rural !
it's located about 1?-2 km north of the South Bay Rd / Hwy 400 intersection - there's a similarly shaped piece at this intersection that is zoned rural.

I won't be in the office today (Friday March 25th). However, my co-workers are looking in to the issues raised by LarasDad. We'll let you know our findings if not today, then on Monday at the latest.

The Township of Georgian Bay provides information to OntarioTaxSales.ca and we have consulted them about this matter. The issue appears to be with the Community Mapping available on their website that is in the process of being corrected.
The Township of Georgian Bay confirms the information as provided to OntarioTaxSales.ca (including the Rural Zoning) is correct.
