Title: TRENT LAKES
Post by: lonewolfsek on June 13, 2013, 03:53:17 AM
Why are the min. tenders all round numbers? This is the first time I have seen this. They are all higher then usual too. It looks like the township is trying to get a little (a lot) more then just the taxes back. I'm no pro by any stretch of the imagination, but does anyone else see something wrong here?

Frank / G2020 or other smarter people then me:

Frank et al:

Correct me if I am wrong but are these people providing sufficient notice under the municipal act.  I seem to recall something that a minimum notice period is required for a sale but don't have your expertise in this matter.

If they have not provided sufficient notice maybe someone should contact the treasurer.

This is not a tax sale.

It is under section 270(1).  Sale of surplus Minicipal property.
