Post by: dogmacanada on February 13, 2014, 02:37:46 AM
Drove by Victoria st,  looks like someone is living in it.... What will it go for?
Drove by 931 Bruce-saugeen, nice out building, I think a fire in main building, look close at pics...right side of pic, you can see through house and brick is all cracked, burn marks under window

Anyone else have info

Dogma:

4 reasons:

1.)  Some of the serious players are down south where they went to enjoy (unwanted) winter weather.  ;D

2.) It is out of some peoples hunting territory which is true in my case.

3.) The offerings are so good that people don't want to talk about it.

4.) People didn't know about it until you mentioned it.

Wow, I assumed the cottage would redeem....got it backwards.

twenty five bids...sold for $65,000....about $25,000 too high.  No doubt will redeem before deed is issued...successful bidder better get your money in real quick.  8)

Frank, why do you say about $25,000 too high?
I just bought the place, curious about your opinion.
BTW got my money in real quick.

Congratulations on our acquisition Samantha, I hope you do well with it.  You will have to deal with the current inhabitant first, and of course there is still the possibility that it gets redeemed before you get your deed....as happened to me two years ago in Parry Sound.

That is my estimate of what I would pay for that cottage, only based on the information I had, I admit I didn't bother to take the drive to see it first hand, so I could be off.
