Anyone bidding on this property? Looks like there's $220,000 in liens. Interested in what happens.
-
But the sale has been cancelled🐊

NOW it has been....What a was of time driving there. What a waste of money checking into liens... This taxsale business blows. The good ones always get redeemed... I'm out

I feels ya man. This just shows that even if you wait til the day before opening to sink your costs, you can't avoid the possibility of waste.
If these people are going to redeem, can't they do it at least a week before the tender opening? Give us a break...

Joe blow doesn't pay his taxes for three years. As he heads to the tax office to pay off his debt two hours before the text sale, he gets into a fender bender and loses his house... Who would leave it to the last day?

Wouldn't matter he has right up until the deed is registered to the bid winner....I lost one in Parry Sound couple years ago about five days after I won the sale.
Until the Province changes the rules this is what we are stuck with. 8)
