Does anybody know whether the results of all tenders are publicly available? If so, a feature on this website listing all of the results of past tenders would be invaluable. Thanks.
Great website by the way!

The result of a tax sale is public information, however not all municipalities go out of their way to make it availalbe. Many post the results on their web-sites (for example, go to : http://www.myhamilton.ca/NR/rdonlyres/97B81459-8D2A-4FE0-8518-0F423EE940C2/0/050_Tax_Sale_Results_2006_12_08.pdf
for the City of Hamilton information back to 1999).
I've had a few co-operate in sending me copies of their reports to Council following the sale when I have asked. I've also had a couple that I've made requests to several times and still no answers. Ultimately, you can get the information by going to the City Clerk and making a request under 'Freedom of Information' - but why would you bother, it is costly and the information is usually not worth much anyways.

Thanks Frank. I understood from reading a number of the postings here that the information is available from each municipality (and that the cost of getting such information may be prohibitive). I was actually wondering about the availability of a consolidated database of such information for all tax sale properties across the province. I would find such a database very useful. If anyone has collected such a database personally and would be willing to share it ... ;D
