Hey there all,
Ok, so I went and took a look at the following properties in Chatham.
If anyone is interested here is my thoughts and what I & my significant other saw.
Roll # 3650-420-001-04300 Pt Lot 70, Plan Old Survey, formerly in the
City of Chatham, County of Kent, now the Municipality of Chatham-
Kent, Province of Ontario as described in 575292, SUBJECT To
Execution 02-0000017 if Enforceable, and SUBJECT To Execution 98-
0000732 if Enforceable. Being 72 King St E (CHATHAM). P.I.N.
00504-0092 Land Titles.
Minimum Bid $7,770.38
This one above house and property outside is long and narrow. Looks like its for 1940's.
It's a real handy mans special. Front porch was peeling(the wood that is). Yes, the front
porch was made of a sheet of 3/4" plywood, metal hand rail kind of hanging there.
Yes there is people living in it. we were able to drive around the whole thing.
No real front yard or back yard or side yard..lol. House takes up almost the whole lot.
Looks like a 2/3 bedroom. Basically a 1 floor home. some screens missing
(torn out/hanging)
Would we bid on this? No.
Roll # 3650-420-020-09700 Pt Lot 148, on the east side of Raleigh
Street, Old Survey, in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Province of
Ontario as described in 608123. Being 163 Raleigh St (CHATHAM).
P.I.N. 00506-0207 Land Titles.
Minimum Bid $12,415.09
The above property. very large older home. 2 full floors/possible basement.
People were outside cutting trees/shrubs down so we got better look.
No, we didn't stop to ask them anything..lol. they did however look like the
present or soon not present owners. Looked like aluminum siding. windows
aprox 15 or so yrs old. area was very tight nit close together houses.
Would be good rental house depending on inside.
would we bid on it? Yes if we wanted another rental income.
Roll # 3650-420-034-11900 Lot 182, Plan 156, in the Municipality of
Chatham-Kent, Province of Ontario. Being 97 Woods St (CHATHAM).
P.I.N. 00533-0258 Land Titles.
Minimum Bid $10,616.39
The above property again older house. Siding looked ok, front patio doors.
No porch though.2/3 bedroom. property was decent size for the area.
The house is located in an ok area. Then noticed the roof looks like a tin
roof or older sheets of metal off a metal pole barn.
Would we bid on it? No
Well if anyone was curious about them that is what we thought & saw.
As always Buyer Beware.
