Title: North Bay sale
Post by: jwjonker on September 10, 2007, 07:56:00 PM
Just listed Sept 8....

The one is a house that has been served with an "order to comply" for:
1)health & safety of occupants
2) animal feces and human sanitary waste and associated mould
3)personal protective eqpmt needed to enter building
4) no occupancy until cleanup complete ...... :o

Sounds like one to almost walkaway from, depending on the value of the city lot !! Maybe even clean it up? It's the mould part that's really scaring me off. I could do the restoration myself, but selling a "mould" home is next to impossible ....

Any thoughts on this ?  ???

Javex will kill any fungus.
Better yet, Potassium Permanganate mixed with Formalin will kill all bacteria.
or boil Potassium Permanganate alone in water to steam up the house.

hey,I'm a real estate sales rep(they don't want us using agent anymore).
Priced correctly and you can easily sell a mold home.
There are buyers for just about everything out there.
Good luck

I just had mold removal done in my home in North Bay.

It was only a couple of walls here and there and it cost me $20,000.

It also took them three months to complete because if you are not an insurance claim they do not prioritize you.

The testing of the mold cost $1600.00 , for the initial tests and then the final tests to see if all the mold was gone.

Beware!
