I saw a comment in a chat thread that you should always do a personal search on the owner of sale property. I did a standard title search which found a private mortgage. I assume that will get wiped out at time of sale ? I found no liens, I saw a comment that a personal search could show a lien on a sale property. What is a personal search, who can do it, how do you do it and what does it cost / Any info would be helpful
