Title: land registry records

hi everyone! im new here on the board. i am looking to buy some land with or without a house on it here in the muskokas. i am wondering if any of you could tell me how to find land registry records. (im not just looking at tax sale properties) i am trying to find out who previous owners were etc. and how many times a property has been sold, that sort of thing.....
can anyone help? i have tried googling until i can google no more..... ::)
