Can anyone explain to me what is this "karma" below our names?

How come I became bronze, I am very new in this? So, what's karma?

So, what's karma?In the search window type in karma.  Rob gives a good explanation in a previous discussion.  Basically say something to offend and you will see a minus.  If you are really helpful you get a plus.  I am not too sure how you move up in the metal department.  Congrats on the Bronze.

Karma:

Every member can give a + or - to anyone.  If you like something someone said, if you we're informed or found something funny you might be moved to give them an [applaud].  If you dislike what someone said you, didn't like the tone, found something to be incorrect you might be moved to give them a [smite].

Originally the scores we're combined in one score.  Members have rarely given out smites so a separate score for each makes more sense.

Level:
Depending on how many posts you have, you reach a level (Bronze, Silver).  Previously we had a forum for Bronze and above and if there is interest we can revisit that idea.
