Title: I am new today..I am trying to find tax sales for homes, land etc in the Gazette
Post by: seagrave on May 09, 2009, 05:52:48 PM
Hi, my name is Joan.

I am new to this and trying to find sale notices for homes, land etc due to non payments of taxes. I was told it must be advertised in the Ontario Gazette and local newspapers. I went online to the Ontario Gazette and I could not find anything in my
searches. If anyone could let me know what wording to put in the search box to find these notices of sales I would be grateful.

I then went onto this forum today and read for about two hours and realized that I have to learn a lot before I attempt to do anything. Can anyone tell me were I could take lessons either online or at a  school that is safe. I have noticed many addvertisements that say they will do everything for you and give you all the listings for Ontario, Newfoundland and BC for a fee.
Are any of these companies online safe and has anyone used them if so what is found to be ok.

Thank you, Joan

Joan, this is the place to take lessons online, but it will probably take 2 to 4 weeks of spare time to read all the posts, and I do mean ALL. If you go to the search function at the LH top of the page, type in gazette, and the URL link is in there somewhere.
  Happy "sale"ing.
