Title: Wasaga Beach....redeemed
Post by: Frank on October 19, 2012, 04:51:30 AM
Dear Stanley A.

May I call you A-HOLE for short.

I want to personally thank you for letting your cottage in Wasaga Beach go to the very last hour before the opening at 3 oclock on Oct. 18th before heading in to pay your tax bill.

It resulted in me and about twenty others enjoying a very lovely day, which included about six hours in the car.  Gaining more experience at completing property searches, and attempting to estimate the values of properties which you can't legally go on.  Dealing with bank tellers and account managers to obtain bank drafts for a deposit.  Spending several hours looking at other properties for sale in order to attempt to determine what yours might be worth--- if it were cleaned up of course.

All-in-all, it was a nice day and you do have a lovely beach, and you do have several lovely fast food outlets, but then again there is a Timmy's on every second corner in Hamilton so I am quite familiar with their motifs.  In the future all that I would ask is that you attempt to be a bit more prompt with your tax payments, and perhaps we will never have the opportunity to do this again.

If I sound a little put out,  it is because I am......A-HOLE.

Yours truly  8)

Netpred to Frank after late redemption:

While I guess this calls for a beer so we can cry in our beer before driving home.

Guess what; "Dave2 still owes me some so I will send the bill to him."   ;D
