Title: New to Tax Sales

Hi, my name is Rich and i am new to the whole tax sale game and came across this website.  I am hoping to submit a tender on an upcoming sale in northern ontario and was wondering how to go about finding out if there are mining claims etc.

Is there a place i can go to find this information? also does anyone know what the importance of a title search is? if i can access the parcel register and it comes up clear... is that all i need?
