I had a new Massey all picked out..... ;D
I could never understand why the people wait to the last minute....they think they are being cute as they are the victim and we are the evil ones ....
I would die of shame and pay it off immediately if it ever happened to me. Instead the entire town knows he is a roach.

I figured this one would go for over a million dollars so too expensive for me. Most sadistic tax sale owner I ran into actually showed up at a bid opening and boasted he had redeemed property too all the bidders.

I had a clown bragging about losing 150 acres in Niagara. Lost an OMB and then lost the land to taxes and still tried to peacock. Anyone from Niagara would know Carlo M.
He brags about coming up with Testamentary lots scheme while serving time for fraud ( Astra Trust). Jackass also decided to teach the city a lesson and lowered the lots to 175 despite the frontage being 200 for decades. Had he not tried to scam with the smaller frontage the city would have let him get away with the scam lot creation.
Loses the OMB and the lots are still rotting empty after 20 plus years. Was never his money that was lost.
Bizarrely enough he tried to convince me to partner with him. I just had to give him land and money and he would get approval. He somehow hoped I had not read newspapers or zoning policies for the last 30 odd years.

A million would of been cheap. Did the two vacant lots go to tender??

The two lots were severed in the early nineties and too low to build as far as I figured. Low land with EP. Wide setback due to being on 25 side road. Don't see a building permit in anyones future.
They really only have value to the adjacent owners.
Update..
Apparently they went for 123k each. WTF ??
