Title: How do u make sense of the listings?
Post by: Signmeup on May 15, 2006, 08:43:02 AM
I was browsing the listings and could not figure out what is what and how much it is or where really.  Can someone help or point me in right direction with the listings. Thank you for reading and taking time to help!

Hi Signmeup,

Lets take a look at a sample property:

 Pt. of Sec.
Sec.
Lot
Twp.
Block
Rge.
Plan
M.
PT. NW
17
E9
45
3
07
4812RS
W4 FABYAN

Pt of Sec seems to equal = 17
Lot = E9
Twp = 45
block = 3
range = 07
Plan = 4812RS
PT. NW = W4 FAYAN

A few of these terms I understand. Plan number is the number that can be used to look up the property at the registery which might require the lot number (E9).  Block and range and Pt. of Sec  I don't fully understand but they are measurements of the property.  Some properties many list many different measures, I believe this is due to an illregular size lot.
