I'm finding that it takes a little patience to find the results. As I find the websites that post the results, I'm adding them to my favorites for quick reference in the future, eventually I should have a decent database going. At this point I'm just trying to get a realistic idea of what a decent water access lot is going for, I've already realized that road access waterfront on useable lots is out of reach for now. Thanks for the advice
I'm not actually interested in any of the Gravenhurst properties, I'm trying to learn what tax sales are all about so I purchased this info package to learn a thing or two, with the info that I was in the package I feel it was worth the $10 I spent. I won't be ready to bid on anything for a while but I'd like to know what I'm doing when the time comes. I'm finding it easier to find tax sales results, they don't always jump out at you on the municipal websites
There must be an easier way to find recent tax sale results. I've followed advice posted here about finding the information on municpal websites, but haven't had much luck. I found a few out there but most municipal websites don't post this information. I see Ontario Tax Sales will sell you monthly listings...after you buy a membership for $50! What a rip-off!!! With the amount of knowledge on this forum, I'm surprised there isn't alot more information posted here. While we're on the topic of sharing knowledge, I have an information package of the Gravenhurst sale, if anyone needs some info.
I'm brand new to this and I'm trying to figure out how to use Claimaps. I downloaded the software from the website but all I have is a bunch of files that I can't open, I'm obviously missing something...like computer skills! I'd appreciate any help.
