Property Information / Re: A bit of detective work ...RH
« on: September 08, 2015, 03:46:52 PM »Oh boy! This one I went to get a floor plan to know where L5 is. It's the unit indoor at lower level, under the stairs, next to the garage... in other word it's a dead unit without street access... oh... also the main entrances will be locked after 6pm. That was an absolute no no for me after the research.
A friend of mine went to the opening and a guy won the bid for $68k. The next day the guy won the bid called my friend and asked he wanted to buy it lol...
Although I didn't figure out where it was, it was a 500 sf unit if I remember correctly. For $68k, I think it was a great buy.
If you found there's a pharmacy at lower level, it has "street access" and "lobby access". Inside the lobby there's a Chinese herbal place next to the pharmacy, next to the herbal place there's a stair, behind the stair there's a plain door that looks like mechanical room or something. That's the L5 you are looking for.
I figured there would be less than 5 people get into the lower level indoor "lobby" area. Among that there is zero person pass by L5 entrance. Checked a little history about this unit and you'll find out that it has never been open for business. There's no resell value for it, it'll just suck you a few thousand per month for condo fee and property tax.
P.s. There's a bank registered a charge against this property in title but they also gave it up
I kind of remember it was like that. I even remember I was able to open that mechanical / electrical room door. Since a friend of yours bought it, do you know if he/she was able to open up the door and claim the 500 sf?
I'm sure he could claim the unit. It's solid in floorplan.
