I was under the impresion that a "writ of exicution" was a search done on an individal, namely the listed owner/s of the property. And the "Title Search" is actualy searching the property for any liens against it?

a "title search" will list what has happened at the local LRO for a property.  Charges/Mortgages, Tax Sale Certificates, Transfers, etc.

My research now leads me to believe that a writ of execution iscalled a Writ of Seizure and Sale in Ontario so I was confused.  A writ of execution directs the sheriff to seize and sell property of a perosn.

I'd send them a letter by Registered Mail offering to sell them the property at it's full value or to give them a month to vacate the property.  Give them 10 days to respond.  Afterwards, serve them with a form N5 if they don't respond. (http://www.ltb.gov.on.ca/graphics/stel02_111568.pdf).  Should they still not move out, file a L2 (http://www.ltb.gov.on.ca/graphics/stel02_111559.pdf) to apply for an eviction order.

Corporations have a generous Capital Gain Exemption, why not use it to your advantage?

Incorporate a numbered corp. and open a cheap account with a credit union or bank.  Meridian has accounts for $5 per month.

Well, I can do Sales History Reports for free, they show the date, amount and buyer for properties.

I'll try to start doing them for as many sales as I can.

A writ is a document directing the Sheriff to seize property.  A title search is a form showing who owns a property and has interests in it (liens, mortgages,etc.)

You should be able to do them through TorontoMLS.  Just click the Land Registry tab and order the Parcel Report or Parcel Register.  $45

EDIT: Actually they're $29.20 through TorontoMLS.
