Anyone wanna share the cost of a title search?

This one is high likely a redemption at the last minute. The town is actually expecting to see the payment today but hasn't seen it yet. I don't specify. People who pay attention know what I am referring to  . So to minimize the risk of spending money for nothing, I'd like to offer cost sharing plan with only regular IDs in here (at least there is some kind of credibility, isn't there?  ). I'll order a title search and send to those who will PM me his/her interest. Costs will be divided among all who are willing to be part of it. Note: no bills no HST no paper ... emailing money is acceptable 

P.S. I don't know if this is appropriate. If I receive >=5 responses opposing to it by the end of today. I'll withdraw.

Don't know what office 31 is. But I was referring to the island that got redeemed - big surprise. What I don't understand is why it would cost that much for Tri-target or OTS to do the title search and execution when others would only charge for 100 or 2.

The cost on the island may be higher because as I recall it, it had 6 PINs which at 40.00 a PIN makes the fees $240.00 without the cost of instruments etc. If you were to go into the office the cost is only $8.00 per PIN but this year it rises to $20.00. The cost for OTS and Tri-target would be cut in half to $20.00 but I am not certain when the change takes place. Sharing is an interesting idea but I do not understand how it would work because for tax sales it is an iterative process. That is, you do the initial search, make a judgement about what instruments to view, this may lead you to an adjoining search, printing of registered or reference plans and so on. You need to be sure that the person you are sharing with has a person who understands your needs, especially with respect to surving crown, or crown corporation surviving liens and mortgages. The quality of search is variable which is why at first glance the price that OTS or Tri-target may look expensive but may provide good value by sharing costs.
