I took a peek at the Hass Rd. property.  Lots of trees but did not look at the actually building (respecting no trespassing sign).  I wonder what the heck this place is/was.  Why wouldn't it be redeemed?  How much does a red pine forest sell for  anyway?  It just did not seem desirable unless you are a logger.  Probably  more to the story.

Just a request.  Unless you want to keep a property confidential, could you please tell us which city/township you are referring to.   There are a lot of properties in just about every corner of the province going through now from Kenora to Ottawa area to Niagara falls to Windsor to Timmins. About the only corner of the province not covered is James Bay

I don't have the time to look at everyone to determine which one you are referring to to try and give you an answer.  

There is also a significant variation in price on your question regarding a red pine forest.  This type of Property in Ottawa will vary significantly in Price from that in Sioux Narrows Nestor Falls.  Personally I have given up trying myself and hire a professional depending on what
the type of property is for sale.  E.g. regarding your question on a red pine forest I use a forrester, which costs me of course.  

This is not an academic question.  Using farmland for example, currently prices range by a factor of 30 i.e. by 3,000% depending on which part of the province you are in.   In parts of the province annual rental costs are higher then market purchase prices in other parts of the province.
