Trent Hills - Only for Rich folks

Nice Day for a tax sale opening in Trent Hills but obviously influence of Toronto Prices is showing.

a) Focus on 1 and 2 as they were the main ones with (Limited) potential.

from a historical perspective winning bids were at full market levels but who am I to comment
in this market.  

1.  Winning bid $18,000 with a dozen bids.  

2.  Winning bid $52,000 with second bid in mid thirties.  almost 20 bids.  zoned EP and ES and you cannot build.

I have smaller (former Tax Sale)  property currently for sale  within a mile of #2 at 50% less that you can build on and you have deeded waterfront access to Rice Lake.  

My recommendation for this spring is forget tax sales locally and check out Kijiji and MLS.   Still some lower historical prices around.

Personally at these prices I wonder if one should follow old stock market maxim.  "sell in May and go away"
