Request for Help to get some Info

Hi there:

This is my first posting. Not familiar - so pardon me if I make any mistakes.

I have been checking on some Tax Sale Properties in
Township of Greater Madawaska and
Municipality of Tweed County of Hastings.

Where can I find the Assessed value and Property Taxes?
Any idea why they have some properties which are less than 0.1 acres where nothing can be built upon?
To submit a tender for a property - how does one get an idea what to go for?
What is the price range in these areas for lots of 1 acre on..

For that of information, you want you need to do is called the person listed at the bottom of the property listing for Township of Greater Madawaska and Municipality of Tweed County of Hastings.  That person will have the taxes information and amount owing as well as the property size/building permit info.  There usually is a phone number and at times an email address.  There is also a package you generally purchase from that city/municipally ranging from 6.99 to 14.99 dollar.  You would get that through the same person in charge of selling the property.

For the assessed value, the city will give you that.  For the actual value, you need to survey different properties in the area and what they are selling for.  This is more difficult, but will give you a better idea of what you can sell the property through restate afterwards (if you so choose).
