nice lot for someone who misses the noise from T.O. altho the price is unbeatable at 5k - cheapest lot goes for 39k in MLS. Anyone from the area? is it worth bidding on for a first time property or are there better lots farther away from 69 to be had for say 20k?

Honestly as soon as I saw the map of the lot I had thoughts of the endless rumble of air brakes all night long on Hwy 69. If its peace and quiet you want this would be slightly better than the Don Valley Parkway. But.....
Check out the lots in North Bruce, I know the area and Miller Lake is very nice. The larger lot is a bit close to the highway as well but alot less busy.

I checked the zoning for this property and it seems to be rural residential. At the and of the lot there is some kind of water. Does anyone know what it is?

Had a quick look at google aerial and it seems that there are houses on both sides so building should not be a problem and the water is probably from the extreme rainfall this spring. be interesting to find out the hours of operation for the airport across the road. am going to try to find out which fed regs are to apply here.

I would not be concerned too much about the airport. I live close to one and there is no big deal, but of course it would be nice to check the area.
