Interesting idea. I'm not sure about the business model though.

Hard to compete with kijiji and craigslist for advertising to buy/sell anything, and those ones are free.

Speed:  Look carefully at types of fill offered.  Some are suitable for road construction.  Of course it depends how much you need.  I have a friend who needed at least 10,000 dumptruck loads.  He got 15,000 all for free plus all the necessary grading etc. thrown for free for good measure. 

Of course he had what the dumptruck boys wanted CLOSE location; location;location.
Needless to say it improved the value of his property which is by a main intersection on the 401.
