6 inch of mildew crawling up the windows of the addition...!  Eeeew, must be that big hole in the roof.

So, anyone had experience cleaning up serious mould issues?  My first thought is gut, treat, maybe paint and then refinish.  As for soggy additions, I don't see much choice but to tear them off altogether.

I contacted three mould specialists and they each quoted 30-50k, (if the roof doesnt have to come off,)  to gut and treat a 1500 sq ft max 1 1/2 storey place like queen mary.  One company actually suggested getting a crew of guys off the street and giving them a dumpster and dust masks as being the best option!!!  I'm afraid my sense of proprietry is beyond that shit. (WSIB would crucify me too!)

Property sold today for 65K. Save your money on the tender package on this one, the new owner will be paying up taxes after shelling out that money.

How did you find out that it sold for $65K ?? No way it would have been on the Land Titles System that fast ... or would it ??

After i dropped my $36 on the tender package at lunch i went to do the tittle search after work on monday, 19 apr and the print out showed it had been sold and the new owner and his mortgage was shown as having been registered on the property on 19 apr. 

I will definitely do the search first next time and save my $36 bucks on the gd tender package.

I wonder how the new owner was able to obtain a mortgage when the property is in such bad shape? No banks or mortgage companies (nor private lenders) will loan money without an appraisal. People sometimes register deeds and mortgages to avoid creditors. If that is the case in this situation, the strategy won't work. So, I would confirm with the municipality that the property has redeemed before giving up on it entirely.

That much mold  two choices ..gut to the framing ... replace all damaged timber, spray and then replace ALL drywall , cabinets fixtures etc

Choice B.......".I have no idea how the fire started , I was just using a blowtorch to solder a pipe"  or alternately.." I  dont know who could have started it , there was some weird guy at the taxsale, mumbled something about if I cant have it noone will"
