Just curious about results.
As well, would like to know if people have been putting in two bids for the same property?
Do they do it using the same name?
How do treasurers feel about this/ is it legal?

I remember this topic coming up previously.  It's a strategy..  if you are the top two bidders and there is a 15% difference in bid prices it would make sense to let the first bid and the deposit go and purchase with the second bid.

Interesting that you pose the question re: submitting two bids along with the inquiry about the Huntsville results.  It seems that this may have been the practice on at least one of the properties.  A couple of the sale amounts seem high -- perhaps there is still confusion about the 'assessed' value from MLS not necessary aligning with market value (people should read elsewhere on the forum).  Also, the indication from the township/municipality that there is 'house' on the property does not mean the structure is still solid/liveable or feasible to restore (or even standing!).  These bids have reconfirmed for me the importance of remembering that this is a tax sale purchase and due diligence should be undertaken.  Thanks to all who have shared their knowledge/insights on the forum -- I have enjoyed reading the serious and not-so serious comments.
